This truck has been our lot's plow truck for the last 2 years.   It was also used in the summer to haul stuff from Lowes Home Improvement when we remodeled our building.   It's previous life was as a municipal utlity truck and plow truck, and later used by a business before we bought it for own use. The hydraulic system is a central system powered by a belt in the engine bay.   It is out of the elements and is considered a more reliable design.  It's better design and reliability means a higher initial cost at the time of purchase which is why only municipalities buy these designs.  We have not had any problems with it the past 2 years.   The tailgate spreader is made by Western, the plow people, the salt holder is made of durable and non-corrosive ABS plastic.  The salt spreader and the plow both work correctly.   We are selling our 4WD lot truck with plow, and salt spreader since we are upgrading our plow truck to a vehicle that was traded in.   There are 2 negative things about the truck, the first is the typical rust at the top of the rear fenders of the truck, the second is the exhaust system has the typical Ford exhaust header leaks.    If you buy the truck at the asking price, we will fix the exhaust leak at the headers.   Or, take it as it is and we will discount it $500. 

Vehicle comes with NO WARRANTY, it is SOLD "AS IS".    Please come and inspect it, it runs well, always starts, even if sitting for weeks.  We used it this past weekend for the recent snow storm. Again, the plow and salt spreader work correctly.
